Features

Click the features below to learn about the ampendage amplifier stand.

Stylish and professional looks

Designed to make you stand out. (Makes a great gift too!)

Small footprint

Whether you plan to use it in a small practice space or a crowded bar, the compact dimensions of the ampendage make it the ideal choice.

Better sound projection

The ampendage amp stand will angle your amp upwards at 9.5 degrees. This projects the sound more directly at your audience providing an improved listening experience.

Improved access to amp controls

The extra height provided by the ampendage amplifier stand puts the controls of an average sized amp right at your fingertips – no more bending over to adjust them.

Clean, consistent sound

Getting your amp off the floor means that floor reverberation will be reduced. You'll get the clean, clear sound your amp was designed to make. You'll also appreciate getting a more consistent sound quality as you move from gig to gig.

Sturdy and stable

The ampendage amplifier stand provides excellent stability for amps of various shapes and sizes. And the 300 lb load pictured at right proves that the ampendage handles heavy amps easily.

Built-in carrying handle

How many amp stands come with a built-in carrying handle?!

About the Ampendage Amplifier Stand

Q. What are the dimensions of the stand?

Height: 12”, Width: 14”, Depth: 12.5”. The upper surface (where the amp rests) is 11” wide. This is narrow enough to fit between the rubber feet of all but the smallest amplifiers, while still providing excellent stability for large amps.

Q. What size amp will it hold?

On the "Features" page, select "Sturdy" and you'll see a picture showing the amp stand holding a load of about 300 lbs. We don't reccommend a load that big, but we’re certain it will support any standard combination amplifier. To see the ampendage holding amps of various weights and dimensions visit our gallery.

Q. How much does the stand weigh?

The stand weighs 8.4 lbs or 3.8 kg

Q. How long will it take to ship?

We ship from Ontario, Canada which means that deliveries to the US should take up to twelve business days. In Canada, allow six days. International orders will take longer and will depend on the destination. We cannot be responsible for delays during transit.

Q. What's the ampendage made of?

The ampendage is made of 3/4" medium density fiberboard (MDF). It's held togther with extra wide 2" screws which make it extremely solid. It has a stainless steel handle with rubber feet and no-slip rubber grips on the top surface. For a closer look at the parts see the assembly instructions.

Q. Is assembly required?

Yes, in order to reduce shipping costs the ampendage amplifier stand is shipped in a flat pack. You will require a Philips screwdriver. Assembly takes about fifteen minutes and assembly instructions are provided. These instructions are also available for download.

Q. Is the stand adjustable?

No. But it’s already at an ideal height (high enough to put the controls at hand height) and angled perfectly for sound projection (9.5 degrees). And both the height and angle were carefully adjusted to provide maximum stability.

Q. Is the ampendage collapsable?

No. Original prototypes of the stand were collapsable but weren't nearly as sturdy. We decided that it's far more important to provide a solid foundation for your valuable equipment then to collapse something that's only about a foot high to start with.

A Customer

What Customers Are Saying

"I've used the ampendage in live gigs across Canada and the United States. It's light enough to tour with and heavy duty enough to take the demands of touring (especially during the winter). I've also used it for great results in my recording studio - it will be hard not to use it on the next batch of recording projects we have lined up over the next year!" - Dave in Ontario

"I love this amp stand. It's better than I thought it would be." - Orin in Texas

"...it looks really good, seems well made and has the promise of being really effective for me. Thanks for the rapid turnaround." - Joe in California

"Love it!!!" - Dave in New Jersey

"Looks great, like a piece of furniture, not a tool. It has a small footprint and holds my amp as well as any stand... I will recommend you to all of my friends." - Tom in Michigan
